OUR STORY

Tomfoolery Wood Co. is a furniture shop based in the great Pacific Northwest.

Finely Crafted Solid Wood Furniture For Life.
Proudly handcrafting lifelong solid wood furniture in Seattle, Washington. We use both traditional and modern methods in our crafting process, meticulously hand-selecting every piece of hardwood timber for their respective projects. Each piece of furniture is wholly built by Tomfoolery in Seattle. From start to finish, each piece is held to an obnoxiously high standard of craftsmanship that's indicative of the team's passion and expertise.

We offer a variety of wood species for most of our listed pieces, including Walnut, White Oak, Maple, Cherry, Madrone, and Myrtle. We can source other species upon request. We utilize only responsibly-forested hardwood.

Founding Principles
Tomfoolery Wood Co. was founded with the idea of making high-quality handcrafted furniture both serving function and form. Solid wood furniture where the natural beauty of the wood makes as much of a statement as our timeless designs.

Sustainability and minimizing of waste is at the core of what we do.  It shapes our processes, the tools and machines we decide to invest in, the vendors we work with, timber we source, and the people we build communities around. We always consider it a high honor and privilege to craft for our clients.
